Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 March 2026

Jambora (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is operated by Orriginal. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the Jambora application for macOS and the getjambora.com website (together, the “Service”).

By using Jambora you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account or sign in, we collect the information provided by your identity provider:

Authentication is handled by Clerk. We do not store your password; Clerk manages all credential verification and OAuth flows (such as Sign in with Google or Apple).

Project Files & Content

When you add a project folder to Jambora, the files within that folder are synced to our cloud infrastructure so your collaborators can access and work on them in real time. File contents, file names, and folder structure are transmitted and stored as part of the sync process.

Collaboration & Presence Data

When you are connected to a project, we process real-time presence information including your online status, which project you are active in, and when you were last seen. This data is used to show presence indicators to your collaborators.

Usage & Diagnostics

Jambora does not use any third-party analytics or tracking services. We do not collect behavioural analytics, device fingerprints, or advertising identifiers. Crash reporting and basic diagnostics may be collected in the future, but only with your explicit opt-in consent.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers.

3. How We Store & Protect Your Data

Local Storage

Jambora syncs files directly from your local file system. Your project files remain on your device at all times. Sensitive credentials (such as authentication tokens) are stored in the macOS Keychain, which provides hardware-backed encryption at rest.

Cloud Storage

When you add a project to Jambora and share it with collaborators, file data is synced through our cloud infrastructure hosted on Cloudflare. Data is stored using Cloudflare Durable Objects and R2 (file storage), both of which provide encryption at rest and in transit. All network traffic uses HTTPS/TLS encryption and WebSocket connections are secured with authentication tokens.
